VIVEKANANDA REDDY (CUDDAPAH): Sir, a number of representations have been forwarded to the Railway Minister and to the General Manager, South Central Railway, Secunderabad from Season Ticket Holders Association, Cuddapah, Andhra Pradesh, signed by large number of affected people, dated 10-10-99. The Passenger train, 521 and 522, running between Cuddapah and Guntakal was cancelled one year back affecting the employees of different departments of State and the Central Government and other organizations.
Again from 6-10-1999, the timings of 207 Passenger train running between Guntakal and Tirupati have been changed and it is running early by two-and-a-half hours comparing to previous timings. Due to this, passengers are facing more difficulties.
Moreover, No.7498, Tirupati to Kacheguda Express which leaves Tirupati at 17.50 hours and arrives Kacheguda at 07.45 hours should be connected to 2723 Hyderabad-New Delhi A.P. Express and 7493 Mumbai-Tirupati and 7494 Tirupati-Mumbai, Balaji Express which is a bi-weekly train be made daily and it should be extended up to Ahmedabad.
There should be introduction of A.C. 3 Tier coaches in Train Nos. 6009/6010, Madras-Mumbai Mail and also in 7497/7498 Tirupati-Kacheguda Express, 7493/7494 Balaji Express, and 6011/6012 Dadar-Chennai Express in place of First Class as this is cheaper and will also accommodate more.
The 511-512 HX-QZ and 515-516 HX-RU Passenger trains should be restored.
